Agro aid for women stopped | The National

This is truly a let down by the UNRE as reported by The National of 15th February 2013. The female scholars of PNG will miss out because of the weakness in the system of finance management of UNRE. The scholarship has assisted my PNGian females student in the past years. It also relieve the financial burden of ordinary PNGians who continue to struggle to finance their children's high school fees in the higher learning institutions of PNG.
There are other Universities that managed these funds well so the NZAid should consider these other learning institutions.
The NZAid be considerate and keep this scholarship scheme to address poverty reduction and elevation of females in the male dominated society. At the same time addressing the gender equality.
